Browsing the Site is free and does not require any registration, except in certain areas where users may freely and explicitly provide certain personal data to access specifically identified services. If a visitor intends to provide personal data to access such services, they will be expressly informed in accordance with Art. 13 of D. Lgs. n. 196 of June 30, 2003, the Code on the Protection of Personal Data, and EU Regulation 679/2016 – “GDPR”, with information on the purposes and methods of use of the data, as well as the right to request deletion or updating of the data at any time.
INFORMATION ON PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION
In compliance with Legislative Decree n. 196/2003, the “Code on the Protection of Personal Data” (hereinafter the “Code”) and EU Regulation 679/2016 – General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter “GDPR”), the following information is provided.
- TYPES OF PERSONAL DATA PROCESSED
No registration is required to access the website. However, there may be sections within the Site that require registration or the use of a username and password (e.g., to complete an online purchase), or services where users need to provide personal data (e.g., Newsletter, contact form, availability request, etc.).
If we collect personal data, users will be informed pursuant to Art 13 of the Code about the purposes for which the data is requested and how it will be used. Where necessary, we will obtain the user’s specific consent for the use of their data. For example, personal data such as name, surname, phone number, email address, and other information that users voluntarily provide to access the Site’s services via a registration form may be requested. Personal data collected online will only be used for the purposes indicated during registration.
Data related to the connection and navigation on the Site (such as the URI-Uniform Resource Identifier addresses of requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the server’s response (successful, error, etc.), and other parameters relating to the user’s operating system and IT environment) are collected for the sole purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information on the use of the Site and verifying its proper operation, and are automatically deleted after a useful period. Data could be used to establish liability in the event of hypothetical cyber crimes against the Site: except for this possibility, the data will be deleted after the time necessary for the provision of the services indicated on the Site.
For more information regarding navigation data, please refer to point 5 below on Profiling Tools used by the Site.
- OPTIONAL PROVISION OF PERSONAL DATA
Providing personal data is generally optional. However, in some cases, failure to provide data may prevent access to specific services or requests (e.g., registration is required to purchase products online).
- METHODS OF DATA PROCESSING AND SCOPE OF COMMUNICATION
Data may be processed either electronically or in paper form. We ensure that personal data provided through the Site will be processed lawfully, fairly, and in full compliance with current regulations, with the utmost confidentiality.
Data will not be disclosed or shared with third parties except within the limits and conditions expressly indicated in the information provided to the user, and only with the user’s prior authorization.
- LINKS TO OTHER SITES
This policy applies only to the Site and not to any other websites that may be accessed through links provided. We are not responsible for the personal data provided by users to third parties or to websites linked to this Site.
- PROFILING AND/OR PERSONALIZATION TOOLS
The Site uses “Cookies”: these are text files sent by a web server (the computer on which the website visited is running) to the user’s browser (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari, etc.) and stored on the user’s hard drive when they visit the Site. The cookie allows the Site to identify the user’s PC through the information stored, every time the user reconnects to the Site using that PC.
Cookies are used to facilitate the user’s navigation of the Site.
Cookies do not collect information that directly identifies the user. In fact, we cannot retrieve any personally identifiable information (e.g., name, surname) through cookies unless it is directly provided by the user. Moreover, another website cannot use a cookie issued by this Site to access other information on the user’s computer. Once stored on the computer, the cookie can only be read by the website that created it.
TYPES OF COOKIES WE USE
Technical Cookies
These cookies are used to facilitate navigation and data transmission over the network or are strictly necessary for the provision of services from the Site. These cookies are usually temporary, called “session cookies”, and are issued by the Site during navigation, but are stored only for the duration of the navigation session. This means that when the user closes their browser, the cookies are automatically deleted and do not remain on the computer. They are composed of random numbers generated by the server and are used to enable safe and efficient browsing of the Site.
Through these cookies, we can facilitate user navigation on the Site, for example, by remembering the data provided by the user in forms (so-called user input cookies), recognizing the user after they have logged in (so-called authentication cookies), personalizing the website interface based on the user’s preferences, collecting aggregated information on the number of visitors and the most visited pages (so-called analytics cookies), etc.
These cookies do not require prior explicit user consent as they are strictly necessary for providing the requested service (ex Art. 122, paragraph 1, of the Privacy Code).
Profiling Cookies
These cookies are designed to create profiles of the user in order to send advertising messages aligned with their preferences: such cookies are stored on the user’s computer during navigation and are retained even after the navigation session ends, until their expiration or deletion by the user (so-called “persistent cookies”). The use of these cookies requires the explicit and informed consent of the user (ex Art. 122, paragraph 1, of the Code). By accessing the Home Page (or any other page) of the Site, viewing the cookie banner, and reviewing the relevant information, if the user proceeds with navigation (e.g., by clicking on a page or link), they provide their specific consent to the use of cookies. Configuring the browser to accept cookies is also considered a valid consent (ex Art. 122, paragraph 2, of the Code).
Your consent will be requested only on your first access to the Site: subsequently, through the use of a technical cookie, we will store your consent for one year to allow you direct access to the Site’s pages upon your return (you will still retain the right to disable/enable cookies or delete them at any time; in such cases, the Site will request your consent again upon your return).
No other user profiling tools are used on this Site.
